BCB president condoles death of Ayub Bacchu
DHAKA, Oct 18,2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul
Hassan Papon, MP, has expressed profound shock at the death of Ayub Bacchu,
one of the country’s top rock musicians and founder of the popular LRB band,
said a BCB media release.
In a condolence message, he said, “”Ayub Bachchu was a pioneer of rock
music in Bangladesh. On behalf of BCB, I extend heartfelt condolences to the
bereaved family members. We mourn with the entire country at the demise of
this exceptional musician who transcended boundaries and inspired millions in
Bangladesh and beyond.”
Ayub Bacchu breathed his last this morning following a cardiac arrest at
his Magbazar residence at the age of 56.
