Three held with phensidyl in Gobindaganj
RANGPUR, Oct 18, 2018 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-13) seized 400 bottles of smuggled phensidyl and arrested three drug traders from Gobindaganj upazila area in Gaibandha district in the small hours of today.
A special team of the elite force rushed to the area, held a pick-up and seized 400 bottles of phensidyl, four mobile phone sets and nine SIM cards and arrested the drug traders from the spot, a press release of RAB-13 said here today.
The arrested drug traders are Azad Mian, 40, and Ataur Rahman, 18, of village Polipara in Fulbari upazila of Dinajpur and Aminul Islam, 36, of village Darikamari in Pirganj upazila of Rangpur.
“After filing a case in this connection against the arrested drug traders, the elite force handed them over to Gobindaganj Thana police today,” the release added.
