Dhaka-Sylhet NCL match ends in a tame draw

DHAKA, Oct 18, 2018 (BSS)- As it was assumed the tier-2 four-day match
between Sylhet Division and Dhaka Division of four-day National Cricket
League ended in a tame draw after the first two day’s play was abandoned due
to wet out field at Sheikh Kamala International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s
Bazar on Thursday.

Sylhet Division resumed their first innings on the fourth day with
overnight score of 229 for 2 and finally declared their first innings at 355
for 9.

Taibur Rahman finished his spell with a figure of 4 for 78 runs. He was
well supported by Shuvagata Hom who grabbed 3 for 72. In reply, Dhaka
Division started their first innings on the fourth day afternoon and scored
55 for 3 at stumps.

Enamul Haque Jr. of Sylhet Division caught two of Dhaka’s wickets conceding
only 7 runs.
