Bangladesh becomes role model of communal harmony: Narayan

KHULNA, Oct 18, 2018(BSS) – Fisheries and Live Stock Minister Narayan
Chandra Chanda said Bangladesh has become role model of communal harmony.

He said Durga Puja, the greatest festival of the Hindu Community, is
being observed across the country with great enthusiasm and festivity.

He made the remarks while visited different puja mandaps at Fultala and
Dumuria upazila in the district in last 24 hours.

He also exchanged greetings with Hindu devotees while visiting different
puja mandaps.

The Minister said Hindu community can observe peaceful Durga Puja
celebration during the present government regime.

Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had a dream of a
Bangladesh, he said, adding that his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina
has succeeded to do it.

Bangladesh has marched towards development in every sector including
social, economic and poverty-free society in last 10 years led by Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said.

“There is no alternative without Sheikh Hasina’s government to continue
development spree,” he said urging people to vote for boat to make Bangladesh
a middle-income country by 2021 and develop country by 2041.

Chairman of different union parishads, local AL leaders and president and
general secretary of puja mandaps were present.
