Rangpur-Khulna NCL match end in a draw
DHAKA, Oct 18, 2018 (BSS) – The tier-1 match between Rangpur Division
and Khulna Division of third round of four-day National Cricket League ended
with a draw at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Thursday.
Chasing a winning target of 324 runs set by Khulna Division, Rangpur
Division started their second innings on the fourth day and scored 91 for 1
at stumps.
Earlier, Khulna Division resumed their second innings with overnight
score at 181 for 5 and finally declared their innings at 334 for 9, setting a
winning target of 324 runs for Rangpur Division.
Soumya Sarkar of Khulna Division was named the player of the match for
his is all round performance in the match.
