Metropolis-Chittagong NCL match ends in a draw
DHAKA, Oct 18, 2018 (BSS)- The match between Dhaka Metropolis and
Chittagong Division of tier-2 third round four-day National Cricket League
ended in a draw on Thursday at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
Chasing a winning target of 306 runs set by Dhaka Metropolis; Chittagong
Division started their second innings on the fourth day and scored 159 for 3
at stumps.
Earlier, on the day, Dhaka Metropolis resumed their second innings with
overnight score of 191 for 6 and finally declared their innings at 254 for 7,
taking an overall 305 runs lead.
Nayeem Hasan of Chittagong was named the player of the match for his
impressive bowling figure.
