Noor condoles death of Ayub Bacchu
DHAKA, Oct 18, 2018 (BSS) – Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Ayub Bacchu, one of the country’s top rock musicians and founder of the popular LRB band.
In a condolence message, the minister said Ayub Bacchu was one of the most popular and dignified personalities in the country’s band arena.
He has taken the country’s band music to a new height, Noor added.
Bacchu has enormous contributions in making the band music popular to the people of all classes, including the young generation, the cultural affairs minister said, adding that the people of the country will remember the noted musician for long.
Noor prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of Bacchu and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
The LRB band founder breathed his last this morning following a cardiac arrest at his Magbazar residence at the age of 56 leaving behind wife, a son and a daughter alongside a huge number of relatives, disciples and admirers to mourn his death.
