DUMUNA’s Int’l conference on Oct 21
DHAKA, Oct 17, 2018 (BSS) – A four-day international conference titled
“Sustainable growth through strengthening economic security” will begin at
Dhaka University (DU) on October 21.
Dhaka University Model United Nations Association (DUMUNA) is going to
organize the conference for the 7th time with a view to providing youth
thoughts to UN on economic sustainability, a press release said.
According to the press release, the opening ceremony will be held on
October 21 at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury senate auditorium of DU.
DU Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman will inaugurate the
programme while the Director of Communication and Public Relation of Dhaka
Ahsania Mission Kazi Ali Reza, DU Business Faculty Dean Prof Shibli Rubayat
Ul Islam, World Bank economist Fayez Ahmed, will be present as special
guests.
Around 500 students from home and abroad including the United Kingdom,
South Korea, Somalia, India, Nepal and Afghanistan will take part in the
conference.
Dhaka University National Model United Nations 2018 is a conference
sketching the procedure of United Nations General Assembly, where students
from home and abroad delegate for different countries of the world.
Over five hundred students from home and abroad including the United
Kingdom, South Korea, Somalia, India, Nepal, and Afghanistan and so on will
be participating in DUNMUN 2018.
