DNCC demolishes 300 illegal shops in Kalyanpur
DHAKA, Oct 16, 2018 (BSS) – Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) in an
eviction drive today reclaimed 20,000 square feet of land removing around 300
illegal shops, boundary walls and other structures at Natun Bazar Pura Basti
in city’s Kalyanpur area.
DNCC Executive Magistrate Md Sajid Anwar led the eviction drive.
Councilor of 11 no ward of DNCC Dewan Abdul Mannan and regional
executive officer Gullal Singh were present, among others, during the drive.
DNCC authorities said drive against illegal structures will continue.
