Upcoming election will be free and fair: Nasim
DHAKA, Oct 16, 2018 (BSS) – Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed
Nasim today reiterated that the next general election would be held in a free
and fair way under the incumbent government in line with the constitution of
the country.
“BNP is trying to create unrest to spoil the peaceful situation of the
country, but none of their tactics will be successful…. the next general
election will be held in a free and fair way under the incumbent government
following the constitution,” he said.
He said this to the newsmen while visiting 20-bed hospital in Bashroad area
at Jinjira of Keraniganj, outskirts of capital.
“BNP should participate in the next election as the Election Commission
(EC) is working independently,” said Nasim, also the Awami League Presidium
Member.
He said the activities of the hospital would start before the next general
election.
Deputy Commissioner, Dhaka Abu Saleh Mohammad Ferdous Khan and Keraniganj
Upazila Chairman Shahin Ahmed were present, among others.
