Khulna division to be child marriage free in Dec
KHULNA, Oct 15, 2018 (BSS) – All municipalities of Khulna division will
be declared child marriage free in December this year.
Khulna divisional commissioner Lokman Hossain Mia announced the decision
today in a meeting held at the conference room of DC here.
At the meeting, the DC asked law enforcement agencies to keep up
vigilance during Durga Puja, largest festival of Hindu community, round the
clock at all Puja mandaps in the division.
Deputy commissioners of 10 districts of the division participated in the
meeting, among others.
