RIVERS-SITUATION
23 rivers register rise, 68 fall
DHAKA, October 15, 2018 (BSS) – Water levels in 23 rivers stations
monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises
and 68 stations recorded fall.
Among the 94 monitored water level stations, two are steady, a bulletin
issued by FFWC said today.
All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger level.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna & the Ganges-Padma rivers are in falling trend
which may continue in the next 72 hours.
The Surma-Kushiyara rivers are in rising trend which may continue in the
next 24 hours.
