Packaging factory catches fire at Indira Road
DHAKA, Oct 14, 2018 (BSS) – A fire broke out in a packaging factory at
Indira Road in the capital this afternoon.
The fire took place in a packaging factory at 42, Indira Road under Sher-e-
Banglanagar Police Station around 12.34 pm, said an official of Fire Service
and Civil Defence.
“Six firefighting engines rushed to the place of occurrence and doused the
flame around 14.45 pm,” he said, adding that no casualty, however, was
reported in the fire.
The cause behind the fire and extend of damage couldn’t be known
immediately, the official added.
