DHAKA, Oct 14, 2018 (BSS)-Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today
predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky at most places across
the country in 24 hours ending at 9 am tomorrow.
The Met office also forecasted that some place across the country may
witness light to moderate rain during the time.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at a few places in Chattogram division and at one or
two places in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions with
moderately heavy falls at some places in Chattogram division. Weather may
remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” said a
met office press release issued here this morning.
Moreover, Day temperature may rise by 2-3oC and night temperature may rise
slightly over the country, the release said.
The country’s maximum temperature was recorded 30.4 degrees Celsius
yesterday at Dimla in Rangpur division while today’s minimum temperature 20.5
degrees Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 5:34 pm today and rises at 5:56 am tomorrow in the capital.
