DU ‘Gha-Unit’ admission test held
DHAKA, Oct 12, 2018 (BSS) – The undergraduate admission test in 2018-19 academic session of “Gha-Unit” of Dhaka University (DU) was held today inside and outside the DU campus.
The one hour entry test of “Gha D-unit” under the faculty of Social Science was held at 81 centers.
A total of 95,341 applicants fought against 1615 seats (Science – 1152, Business Studies – 410, Humanities – 53) in this unit where 59 students competed for each seat.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, DU Pro-VC Professor Dr Muhammad Samad, Social Science Faculty Dean Professor Dr Sadeka Halim, Proctor Prof Golam Rabbani and senior teachers of the university visited the exams halls during the exam.
Electronic devices, including calculator, mobile phone, and electronic watch, were not allowed into the exam halls.
The admission seekers have been asked to visit the university website (http://admission.eis.du.ac.bd) for detailed information.
This year, a total of 2,72,512 admission seekers have applied for undergraduate admission against 7,128 seats under five units in 2018-19 academic session.
