JU-CLEANLINESS-CAMPAIGN
BCL conducts cleanliness campaign at JU
SAVAR, Oct 11, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of
Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit today conducted a cleanliness campaign on
the campus here.
With the slogan, ‘Our University, We will have to keep it clean’, leaders
and activists of the university unit started the cleanliness drive from JU
Central Shahid Minar premises at noon.
JU Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic) Professor Md Nurul Alam inaugurated the
campaign as the chief guest.
Lauding the campaign he urged BCL leaders and activists to take such
activities for keeping the campus area neat and clean.
Professor Abdullah Hel Kafi, Professor Khalid Kuddus of International
Relation department, Professor Sohel Ahmed of Microbiology and JU Proctor
Associate Professor Shikder Md Zulkarnine were present, among others.
BCL activists led by JU BCL President Jewel Rana and General Secretary SM
Abu Sufian Chanchal, took part in the cleanliness campaign dividing into
several groups.
