Youth Women’s Handball league begins Saturday
DHAKA, Oct 10, 2018 (BSS)- The 5th National Youth Women’s Handball
competition will begin on Saturday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball
Stadium in the city.
Nasrul Hamid, MP, State Minister for Power, Energy & Mineral Resources
Ministry, is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, Walton operative director and also head of games and
sports welfare of Walton Group, and veteran sports organizer Farida Akter
Begum will present as the special guests.
A total of 12 handball teams will take part in the competition,
organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF).
Sponsor Walton Group will provide Taka 5,000,00 out of the total
competition budget of Taka 7,30,000 to run the meet.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Wednesday at BHF office
room to provide all the details of the meet.
BHF general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, Walton
operative director head of games and sports welfare of Walton Group BHF vice
president and tournament committee’s chairman M Nurul Islam and tournament
committee’s secretary M Mokbul Hossain were present in the press conference.
