23 rivers register rise, 65 fall

DHAKA, Oct 9, 2018 (BSS) – Water levels in 23 river stations monitored by
Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 65 stations
recorded falls.

Among the 94 monitored water level stations, three are steady, a bulletin
issued by FFWC said today.

All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger level.

The Brahmaputra-Jamuna, Ganges-Padma and the rivers of Upper Meghna basin
are in falling trend which may continue in next 48 hours.
