Govt. plans for uplift of marriage registrars’ livelihood: Mannan
SYLHET, Sept 29, 2018 (BSS) – State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan said here today the government has a plan to increase advantages of the marriage registrars.
“We have a plan for increasing advantages of marriage and divorce registrars in line with the huge development done in socio-economic sector,” he said as the chief guest at a member conference and fresher’s reception of the Marriage Registrar Association at Rikabibazar auditorium here.
“The government has taken up various projects for welfare of the people, for which, a huge development has been done in socio-economic sector,” he also said.
“We are working with utmost sincerity for development in education, health, and economic sectors for which the country is about to achieve the middle income status,” he added.
Maulana Mohammad Abdul Jalil, president of the association, presided over the function, while its secretary Md Mainul Islam Parvez moderated it.
Among others, additional divisional commissioner of Sylhet, Mrinal Kanti Deb, additional deputy inspector general of police of Sylhet range, Joydeb Bhadra, and additional deputy commissioner (education) Abu Safayet Md Shahidul Islam, were present on the occasion.
