‘Carbon Green’ cleanses chemicals in fruits, vegetables
DHAKA, Sept 14, 2018 (BSS) – Life and Health Limited, Bangladesh today claimed that its product ‘Carbon Green’ is capable of cleaning 90 to 95 percent of chemicals, including pesticides and formalin, in fresh fruits and vegetables and making food safe for consumption.
“No more fear of pesticides and formalin will persist as regards fresh fruits and vegetables are concerned. We have got Carbon Green that cleans chemicals and makes food safe for consumption,” Life and Health Limited Chairman Dr Shakti Paul told a press conference at the Daily Star Complex, according to a press release.
In his presentation, he said ‘Carbon Green’ is imported from Thailand, tested in BCSIR and certified by BSTI of Bangladesh.
He said pesticides are used in high-yielding fruits and vegetables.
According to a study, the use of pesticides has increased by 328% on agricultural products of Bangladesh.
