Burn, plastic surgery camp inaugurated at Fazilatunnesa Mujib hospital

DHAKA, Nov 27, 2017 (BSS) – A burn and plastic surgery camp was inaugurated today at Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital and Nursing College at Gazipur, said a press release.

The camp would provide services and operate surgeries till December 4 among the patients free of cost.

Sheikh Hafizur Rahman, Member Secretary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust opened the camp as chief guest while Dr Gaige Guha, ambassador extra ordinary and parliamentary, Ministerial Commission, Ministry of foreign affairs and trade of Hangeri, Idham Zuhri M Yunus, Advisor of High Commission of Malaysia and CEO of the hospital Jaytun Binti Sulaiman were present, among others.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Hafizur Rahman said, “The hospital would set a rare example in providing healthcare services to the needy people.”

The hospital started its journey on November 18, 2013 under a joint initiative of KPG of Malaysia and Bangabandhu Memorial Trust.

Since its inception, the hospital has earned the appreciation of all quarters for its improved healthcare services like medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatric, eye, ENT, neuro-medicine, cardiology. This hospital has also made a special place in the country’s healthcare sector through rendering international-standard nursing services, MRI, CT scan and dialysis.
