3 killed in separate incidents in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Aug 21, 2018 (BSS) – Three persons were killed in separate
incidents in the city and district today.
Among the victims two killed by road mishaps and another youth killed
after sinking into pond.
Two motorcyclists Helal Uddin, 32 and Jafar Ahmed, 46, were killed in
separate road accidents at Bahaddarhat area in the city and Anwara upazila of
the district this morning.
The motorcyclist Helal Uddin died on the spot when a truck knocked the
motorcycle at city’s Bahaddarhat area at 9 am today.
Jafar Ahmed, received head injury after falling from his motorcycle at
Rangadia village under Anwara Upazila of the district at 10 am today. He was
taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH), where the attending
doctors declared him dead after admission.
Police recovered the bodies and sent to the morgue for autopsy.
Youth Bappi Biswas, 23, become senseless after sinking into pond at
Shikarpur village of Hathazari upazila of the district at 1 pm today.
Police said he was bathing at the pond beside his residence.
Locals and family members rescued the victim in an unconscious state and
brought to the CMCH at 2 pm where physicians declared him dead, sources said.
