CHANDPUR, Nov 13, 2017 BSS)- About 29 villages of Matlab Uttar upazila in the district have been brought under rural electrification network by Chandpur Palli Bidyut Samity-2 (CPBS).
Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya formally inaugurated the electrification programme recently at a simple function in Mohonpur area of the upazila as the chief guest.
About 3663 families of 29 villages got the new electric line of the upazila, said Abu Taher, General Manager of CPBS.
A total of 40.3 kilometers areas have been brought under rural
electrification network spending about Taka 7.75 crore, he said.
