President mourns death of former Indian Premier Vajpayee
DHAKA, Aug 16, 2018 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today mourned the death of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
In a condolence message, the President expressed deep shock at the demise of Vajpayee who tremendously contributed to the development of this region.
“His (Atal Bihari Vajpayee) death is really irreparable…… a vacuum has been created in the politics in this region at his death,” he said.
President Hamid said Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be remembered for his contributions to the development for long with due respect.
The President conveyed his profound sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for salvation of the departed soul.
Vajpayee, also a senior BJP politician, passed away at All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Thursday at the age of 93.
The 10th Prime Minister of India had been suffering from kidney-related ailments and was admitted to the AIIMS on June 11.
