Addressing a press conference held at Janata Tower Building today, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kazi IT Mike Kazi said about 6,000 job seekers are expected to attend the festival titled “Career Boot Camp”.

The job seekers would get an opportunity to learn from the best trainers of the country and prove their skills by preparing presentations, he said, adding, “The job seekers, who will receive training, will be selected through a competitive examination for recruitment.”

LICT Project Management Specialist Sarker Abul Kalam Azad, communication specialists Ajit Kumar Sarkar and Hasan Benaul also spoke at the function, said a press release.

Mike said any job seeker from any part of Bangladesh can participate through the webcast on Kazi IT’s Facebook Fan Page (facebook.com/kaziitbd) and get a fair shot at getting a job.

“There is no limit on how many people we are going to recruit. We are hiring analyst on business development, team leader, assistant manager and manager,” Mike Kazi added.

Azad said the LICT project has appointed UK-based Ernst and Young (EY) to develop 30,000 skilled human resources through providing world-class training.

The EY has already provided training to 14,000 graduates of college and universities so far, he said, adding that the recruitment and learning festival to be jointly organised by LICT and the US based world class BPO Company Kazi IT will create a scope for these already-trained-graduates.

Ajit Kumar Sarkar said the LICT project is partnering with the country’s leading IT companies and holding job fair jointly with an aim to establish a direct contact among the recruiting companies and jobseekers.
