JPC pays homage to Bangabandhu
GOPALGANJ, Aug 6, 2018 (BSS) – Jatiya Press Club (JPC) leaders today paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara.
JPC General Secretary Farida Yasmin placed the wreath on behalf of the organization.
JPC vice-president Azizul Islam Bhuiyan, its senior member and Prime Minister’s Media Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, executive member Kalyan Saha, journalists’ leader Shahjahan Miah, Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) publicity secretary Zihadur Rahman and senior journalists were present on the occasion.
They also offered Fateha seeking eternal peace of Bangabandhu and his family members who embraced martyrdom on August 15 in 1975.
Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury also placed wreaths along with Bangabandhu Shishu Kishore Mela leaders.
