College girl killed in Gazipur road accident
GAZIPUR, Aug 4, 2018 (BSS) – A college girl was killed as a covered van
hit her in Barabari Bus stand area on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway this
morning.
Police said the Mymensingh-bound covered van hit the girl while she was
crossing the road at about 11 am, leaving her seriously injured.
The injured girl Farzana Alam Mim, 19, a student of Safiuddin Sarker
Academy and College (SSAC) in Tongi, was sent to Shaheed Ahsanullah Master
General Hospital where on-duty doctors declared her dead, said officer-in-
charge of Tongi Police Station Kamal Hossain.
