Spain held again at Euro 2020 by Poland

SEVILLE, Spain, June 20, 2021 (BSS/AFP) – Robert Lewandowski’s second-half
header secured Poland a 1-1 draw with Spain in Seville on Saturday, forcing
the hosts to settle for a second straight draw in Group E.

Alvaro Morata swept Spain, who drew 0-0 with Sweden in their opener, into a
25th-minute lead, before Lewandowski levelled for Poland nine minutes after
the break.

Gerard Moreno struck the post from the penalty spot before the hour mark,
as Poland held on to get their first point on the board ahead of their last
group game against Sweden in Saint Petersburg on Wednesday.
