CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 20, 2021 (BSS)- Three more persons died of Covid-19
during the last 24 hours raising the total number of deaths to 90 in the
district.
“The number of Covid-19 cases climbed to 3,510 as 102 more people were
detected positive after testing 601 samples in the district during the period
while the infection rate is 16.97 percent,” sources in the Civil Surgeon
Office in Chapainawabganj confirmed.
Among the new fatalities two persons are reported from Chapainawabganj
Sadar upazila and another from Gomostapur upazila.
Among the newly detected patients, 50 people are from Sadar upazila, 27
from Shibganj upazila, 11 from Gomastapur upazila, 11 from Nachole upazila
and three from Bholahat upazila.
A total of 1,129 patients, in which 66 in dedicated Covid-19 hospital and
others at home are undergoing treatment in the district.
Meanwhile, 2,291 patients with 276 new have recovered from the disease
here, the sources added.
