Bangladesh lose to Indonesia
DHAKA, June 19, 2021 (BSS)- The Bangladesh archery team comprising Ruman Sana, Hakim Ahmed Rubel and Abdur Rahman Alif lost to Indonesia by 6-0 set points in the pre quarterfinal of recurve men’s team event elimination round of Archery final qualification tournament held today at Charlety Stadium in Paris, France.
Earlier, on the day Bangladesh confirmed their spot of pre quarterfinal beating Portugal by 6-0 set points in the elimination round of 1/12 match.
Meanwhile, in the qualification round, ace archer Ruman Sana finished 25th after scoring 668 among the 720 participants, Abdur Rahman Alif finished 50th after scoring 659 and Mohammad Hakim Ahmed Rubel finished 54th after scoring 658. Bangladesh finished 11th among the thirty six teams in the qualification round of men’s team event.
