Second round of women’s football league begins tomorrow
DHAKA, June 19, 2021 (BSS)- The second round of Women’s Football League
begins from tomorrow (Sunday) at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad
Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur with two matches are billed for
the opening day.
In the day’s first match, Suddopuskorini Jubo Sporting Club take on
holders Bashundhara Kings that kicks off at 11 am while Kachijhuli Sporting
Club meet Nasrin Sports Academy in the second match of the opening day’s
fixture that begins at 3 pm.
After the conclusion of first round, Bashundhara Kings maintained their
top slot in the league table with 21 points from seven matches while all-
losers Suddopuskorini Jubo Sporting Club yet to open their account also from
seven matches.
While Nasrin Sports Academy have secured ten points from seven matches
Kachijhuli Sporting Club bagged eight points also from seven outings.
