CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 19, 2021 (BSS) – One more person died of Covid-19 and
12 tested positive for the lethal virus during the last 24 hours in the
district.
With one fatality, the death toll raised to 87 here, Civil Surgeon Office
sources said.
The number of Covid-19 cases climbed to 3,408 as 12 more people were
detected positive in the Rapid Antigen Test of 212 samples in Chapainawabganj
Sadar and Shibganj upazilas during the 24-hour period, they said.
No test report came from the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital RT-PCR lab
yesterday, they added.
The new fatality is reported from Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila.
Among the newly detected patients, seven are from Sadar upazila and five
others from Shibganj upazila.
A total of 1,307 patients, in which 70 in dedicated Covid-19 hospital and
others at home, are undergoing treatment in the district.
Meanwhile 2,015 patients have recovered from the disease here, the sources
added.
