CHATTOGRAM, June 18, 2021 (BSS)- A total of 91,200 doses of the Chinese-made Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine reached here this morning.
These coronavirus antidotes were brought here from the Dhaka Civil Surgeon’s Office with a special vehicle of Beximco Pharma.
A team led by Dr. Sheikh Fazle Rabbi, Civil Surgeon of Chattogram received 152 boxes of vaccine amounting 91,200 doses.
Dr Rabbi said that the vaccines are being stored properly in the EPI cold store of the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
However, he said that it has not been decided yet when the distribution and implementation activities will begin here.
Concern sources said that one lakh 14 thousand doses of vaccine have been allocated for five districts of Chattogram division. Of these, maximum 91,200 doses vaccine have been allotted only for Chattogram district,
