CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 18, 2021(BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged smuggler with 27,360 pieces of Indian cigarette from Gomostapur in Chapainawabganj district last night.
The arrested person is Md. Enamul Hoque, 43, of Chakpustom village under Gomostapur upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
RAB said, acting on a tip off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided Chakpustom village under Gomostapur upazila of the district at 8.10 pm and arrested Enamul with the cigarettes.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to the police of Gomostapur thana with a case.
