GAIBANDHA, June 16, 2021 (BSS) – The Fire Service and Civil Defense Station has started its journey at Palashbari upazila in the district amid much enthusiasm.
The station was inaugurated on June 14 implemented by Public Works Department (PWD) at the cost of TK 1.61 crore under the project of Establishment of Fire Service and Civil Defense Station in country’s 156 important Upazila/Places.
On the occasion, a munazat and doamahfil was held.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Kamruzzaman Nayan attended the inaugural function as the chief guest.
Officer-in-charge of Palashbari Thana Masudur Rahman, deputy assistant director of the fire service station Md. Anamul Haque, upazila station officer Sayeed Md. Imran also attended it, among others.
