DHAKA, June 13, 2021 (BSS) – A Bangladesh youth won global video blogging competition conducted by Indian Council for Cultural Relations(ICCR).

ICCR launched the Global video blogging competition: “My Life My Yoga” in June 2020 where Mansif Helali, a teenager from Bangladesh, bagged the third position in the Youth Category for his extraordinary skills in different postures of Yoga.

Helali has been a student of Yoga for last 11 years.

At an event at the High Commission of India in Dhaka, High Commissioner Vikram K Doraiswami handed over a cheque of US $1000 to Mansif Helali and congratulated him in the presence of his family and officials of the High Commission.

Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the competition elicited an overwhelming response from across the globe, presumably in part because of enhanced interest in Yoga as a means of maintaining health in the fight against COVID-19.

A large number of participants’ uploaded videos for this global video blogging competition entitled “My Life My Yoga” from around the world while the maximum number of entries were from Bangladesh.
