DHAKA, June 11, 2021 (BSS) – National University (NU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Mashiur Rahman today paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
The VC along with deans, registrar, exam controller and heads of different departments paid tribute by placing wreaths at his mausoleum maintaining health safety rules, said a press release.
Professor Dr Md Mashiur Rahman then stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the Father of the Nation.
They offered fateha and joined a special munajat seeking eternal peace for Bangabandhu and other martyrs of the August 15 carnage.
They also prayed for the long life of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
