68 more test positive for Covid-19 in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 11, 2021 (BSS)- A total of 68 more people were diagnosed with Covid-19 positive during the last 24 hours in the district.
“The number of Covid-19 cases climbed to 3,044 as 68 more people were detected positive after testing 503 samples in the district during the period at the infection rate of 13.51 percent,” sources of the Civil Surgeon Office in Chapainawabganj confirmed.
Among the newly detected patients, 16 people are from Sadar upazila, eight from Shibganj upazila, 36 from Gomastapur upazila, seven from Nachole upazila and one from Bholahat upazila.
A total of 1,182 patients, in which 57 in dedicated Covid-19 hospital and others in home quarantine, are undergoing treatment in the district while 1,800 patients have, so far, been recovered from the deadly disease here, the sources added.
