MEETING-MOON -SIGHTING
Nat. moon sighting committee to meet tomorrow
DHAKA, June 10, 2021 (BSS): The National Moon Sighting Committee will hold a meeting tomorrow at 7:15 pm (after Maghrib prayers) at Baitul Mukarram conference hall of the Islamic Foundation.
The meeting will review the sighting of the moon of the holy month of Zilqad 1442 hijri, said a press release
State Minister for Religious Affairs Mohammad Faridul Haque Khan will preside over the meeting.
People are requested to inform through following telephone numbers- 9559493, 9555947, 9556407, and 9558337 if the moon of the holy month of Zilqad is seen anywhere in the sky of Bangladesh.
The Islamic Foundation has also requested to inform the Deputy Commissioners or Upazila Nirbahi Officers of the concerned district by fax over 9563397 or 9555951.
