Fakirerpool YMC beat Wari Club 4-1 in BCL
DHAKA, June 7, 2021 (BSS)- Kankar scored a brace as Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club recorded an overwhelming 4-1 goal victory over Wari Club in a second round match of the Bangladesh Championship League Football held today at Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
Apart from Kankar’s two goals in the 17th and 56th minute, Raihan and Shariful supported him with a lone goal each for Fakirerpool in the 19th and 26th minutes respectively.
Ali Akbar netted a lone goal for Wari Club in the 81st minute of the match from a penalty.
In the day’s another match, Dhaka City Football Club Limited split points with Uttara Football Club Limited when their match ended in a tame goalless draw at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamlapur.
In the proceeding, both the teams created several scoring chances but failed to convert any of those into a goal due to lack of proper finishing.
