Quader said seeds of corruption and irregularities were sowed during BNP’s tenure in the country’s history.
BNP is the flag-bearer and patron of irregularities, corruption and bad governance, he said adding that BNP had exercised all dark paths for staying in power.
Now BNP’s real face has been unmasked before the people, he said.
The AL general secretary said now BNP’s communal politics, making religion as political shield, spreading falsehood and doing anti-Indian politics are not bringing any benefit for the party.
But BNP is continuing its conspiracy against the country and the government at home and aboard, he said adding that even BNP wants to disestablish the independent state for going to power.
They are doing anti-state acts while criticizing the government, he said.
Quader said BNP is desperate to regain the lost power. So they want to take the country to the depths of darkness again, but the people will not give that opportunity to the BNP anymore.
Hawkers League Convener SM Zakaria Hanif chaired the function while AL Publicity and Publications Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap and Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi addressed it among others.
