DHAKA, June 4, 2021 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Dhaka, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy falls at some places over the country in 24-hour till 9am tomorrow, said a met bulletin.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, it added.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 36 mm at Sylhet in Sylhet division.
Country’s maximum temperature yesterday was recorded 36.8 degrees Celsius at Kutubdia in Chattogram division and minimum temperature today was 24.5 degrees Celsius at Sylhet in Sylhet division.
Today’s sunset at 6.43 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise at 5.11 am in Dhaka.
