Tk 37,281 crore proposed for defence
DHAKA, June 3, 2021 (BSS) – The government has allocated Taka 37,281 crore for the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces Division in the proposed budget for the fiscal (FY) 2021-2022.
The allocation is Taka 3,781 crore higher than the revised budget of Taka 33,500 crore of the previous FY 2020-21.
Of the total amount allocated in the proposed budget, Taka 35, 448 crore is for the Ministry of Defence , Taka 1,789 crore for the Defence Ministry’s other services and TK 44 crore for the Armed Force Division.
