Home ministry gets Tk 26,890cr
DHAKA, June 3, 2021 (BSS) – The government has allocated Taka 26,890 crore for the Ministry of Home in the proposed national budget for the fiscal 2021-22(FY22).
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal unfolded the national budget in the Parliament here today with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
He said Taka 23,082 crore has been allocated for Public Security Division and Taka 3,808 crore for Security Services Division of the Home Ministry.
In the FY21, the security division allocation was Taka 22,660 and Taka 3,858 crore for Security Services Division of the Ministry. Kamal also proposed Taka 21,485 crore as operating of the Public Security Division while Taka 1,597 crore will expense for development activities of the division.
Besides, Taka 2,550 crore will be spent for operation and Taka 1,258 crore for development activities of the Security Services Division during the FY22, the minister said.
