Kachijhuli earn 2nd win in women’s football
DHAKA, June 1, 2021 (BSS)- Kachijhuli Sporting Club recorded their second win in the Women’s Football League as they beat Suddopuskorini Jubo Sporting Club by 3-1 goals in a match held today at Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
In the day’s match, Shikha scored a brace while Marufa added the other goal for the winners’ side. Sumaiya scored the lone goal for the losers’.
Shikha opened an account early scoring the first goal for Kachijhuli Sporting Club in the 8th minute while Marufa doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 27th minute.
Shikha further increased the team’s margin scoring her second and third goal for Kachijhuli in the 37th minute of the match.
While after the breather, Sumaiya pulled one back for Suddopuskorini Jubo Sporting Club in the 72nd minute of the match.
With the day’s win, Kachijhuli Sporting Club improved their position with six points from five matches while bottom-ranked Suddopuskorini Jubo Sporting Club is yet to open their account playing the same number of matches.
