2 killed in clash of two ‘terrorist’ groups in Cox’s Bazar
COX’S BAZAR, May 31, 2021 (BSS) – Two persons were killed and two
others wounded in clash between two ‘terrorist’ groups at
Rumaliarchhara Sikder Bazar area in the district around 6pm today.
Police recovered the bodies from the spot.
The deceased were Sahed, 22 of Tekpara Chaumuhani area and Raihan
Uddin, 27 of Rumaliarchhara area in the district.
Cox’s Bazar Police Super Md Hasanuzzaman said both of the deceased
were fugitive accused in several cases including murder and robbery
cases.
The clash took place between the terrorist groups over establishing
supremacy, he said.
Police is continuing drive in the area to arrest others involved
with the incident, the SP said. Two injured were admitted to Cox’s
Bazar Sadar Hospital. The bodies were kept at the hospital morgue.
