NoFel SC blank Uttara Football Club 2-0 in BCL
DHAKA, May 31, 2021 (BSS)- NoFel SC made a winning start in the lone opening second round match of Bangladesh Championship League football when they blanked Uttara Football Club Limited by 2-0 goals held today Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
In the day’s proceeding, Mahmudul broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for NoFeL in the 43rd minute in the first half after the lemon break Fuad scored the second goal for the winners’ in the 47th minute of the match.
Uttara Football Club however tried heart and soul to stage a fight back in the match but could not convert any lack of proper finishing.
NoFel SC will play their next match against Fortis Football Club on Friday (June 4) while Uttara Football Club Limited will meet Dhaka City Football Club Limited on June 7. Both the matches will be held at the same venue.
Tuesday’s match: Fortis Football Club vs Farashganj Sporting Club 4 pm at the same venue.
