AL Dhaka South City unit leader Riaz’s father passes away
DHAKA, May 30, 2021 (BSS)- Haji Abul Basar, father of Dhaka South City unit of Awami League (AL) office secretary Riaz Uddin Riaz, died of a heart attack while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital here in the early hours of today.
He was 80.
Abul Basar left behind his wife, six sons and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, AL joint General Secretary and Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Chattogram Divisional Organizing Secretary of AL Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan, office secretary Barrister Biplob Barua, Dhaka South City unit President of AL Abu Ahmed Mannafi, its general secretary Humayun Kabir and Organizing Secretary Golam Ashraf Talukder have expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Abul Basar.
In separate condolence messages, they prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
