Jamalpur Kacharipara register 1st win in women’s football
DHAKA, May 28, 2021 (BSS) – Jamalpur Kacharipara Akadash registered
their first victory in the Women’s Football League beating Kachijhuli
Sporting Club by 4-3 goals held today at Bangabandhu National Stadium
here.
In the day’s match, Kanon Rani put Jamalpur ahead early in the 8th
minute while Amena Khatun restored the parity for Kachijhuli in the
18th.
Shikha Akter put Kachijhuli ahead scoring the second goal in the
41st minute while after the breather Marufa Akter further widened the
margin scoring the third goal for Kachijhuli in the 47th minute of the
match.
Jamalpur however staged a fight back in the match scoring three
goals in the remaining proceeding when Maleni Chakma reduced the
margin scoring the second goal for Jamalpur in the 53rd minute. She
leveled the margin scoring her second and third for the team in the
60th minute of the match.
Ratna sealed the victory scoring the fourth goal for Jamalpur in the
88th minute of the match.
The day’s win saw, Jamalpur Kacharipara Akadash opened their account
securing three points from four matches while Kachijhuli Sporting Club
remained at their previous credit of three points playing the same
number of matches.
