50 more test positive for COVID-19 in Natore
NATORE, May 28, 2021 (BSS) – A number of 50 more people were
diagnosed with COVID-19 positive in the last 24 hours in the district
after testing 110 samples at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital
COVID-19 PCR laboratory and Natore Sadar Hospital including three
Upazila Health complexes COVID-19 Antigen Testing centers.
Of the new positive cases, 48 are in Sadar upazila and rest of the
two in other upazilas of the district.
The infection rate about 46 percent, the incidence of coronavirus
infection is increasing in the district, civil surgeon Dr Kazi Mizanur
Rahman, told BSS this afternoon.
According to the civil surgeon’s office sources, samples of 14,048
people have been tested in the district so far and 1,713 people have
been found COVID-19 positive.
A total of 17 persons have so far died of COVID-19 in the district,
said civil surgeon Dr Kazi Mizanur Rahman.
At present the number of persons in the home quarantine in the
district is 240 and the number of patients in the hospital quarantine
is 12. There are a total of 172 patients in the isolation of the
hospital. Of these, 27 are in Natore Sadar Hospital.
